St. Paul's Church

St Paul is a lively friendly evangelical church based in Dorking, Surrey UK. At St Paul we have recently started an new monthly service looking at the facts of life called "Cutting Edge" - these services look at life issues and are very much aimed at the "unchurched" (18-35s). We try to present the topic in a way that is accessible to all and uses all sorts of media to achieve this.

St Paul is becoming more media based by showing videos, dvd's, worship songs, sermon aids and much more. A bespoke program is being written to take care of all the types of media we want to present (ie:MPEG, Flash, Powerpoint, HTML), as well as text for worship songs with images and moving images behind.

We use your Vibe Video MPEGs to run during worship, and as a visual aid to prayer and reflection. I thank God for you and your ministry and for making mine easier as a result.

Multimedia Leader

Andy Hunter
Dance music and spiritual faith are rarely seen in the same circles. Britain's Andy Hunter manages to ride the balance between the two without alienating the former or tainting the latter. A lover of both music, and what he calls "his God," since the age of 14 Hunter has worked in a capacity that has allowed both those entities to blissfully co-exist.

"Highway video add an extra dimension to what I am trying to say through my music. They interpret my message in a very creative way adding depth and stimulating another sense that God gave us."

Chris Tomlin
The Chris Tomlin Band is one of the most popular worship bands today, writing and performing such worship songs as "Be Glorified", "This Is Our God", "The Wonderful Cross" and more. The band has been using Highway Vibe Video and Elements clips to add a visual layer of meaning to their worship Services.

1."We use Highway Videos as much as we can on the road, and at our local church. Their creativity adds a whole new texture to the worship experience, and visually stimulates the mind toward God as the music speaks to the soul."

- Jesse Reeves, bass guru for the Chris Tomlin Explosion.

2. "Those guys at highway video are some seriously screwed up guys... but we figured what the heck, at least it looks cool while we're rocking the kiddies."

- Jesse Van Halen

Apostles Church
“Highway Video is like a stained glass company for the future church. Back in the middle ages, stained glass was used to teach people the stories of the faith in a visual way. In our post-modern, post-literate culture, video and film are today's stained glass.”

Karen Ward,
Church of the Apostles,

Media Shout

MediaShout is the premier worship presentation software on the market today. It has the ability to display song lyrics, 19 versions of the Bible, message and announcement text, videos, Flash animations, graphics and to play audio files in a linear or "on-the-fly" presentation. MediaShout enables your visual media team and your worship/teaching teams to add to their presentations an experiential component that captures contemporary visually oriented audiences. MediaComplete Corp., parent company of MediaShout, also handles live event production and training seminars on using Media in Ministry.

"Having the Highway Video Vibes and Elements libraries at my fingertips during worship has given me the ability to lead the visual media support of worship with powerful video content. Adding visual harmony to the lyrics being displayed and sung can open worshippers' eyes to 'see' God's beauty and love as they praise Him for it. Highway Videos have given me that hip and thought-provoking way to achieve spectacular visual enhancement. As the VJ continues to emerge as a prominent figure in worship leading these days, count on the guys at Highway to provide him with the tools to touch the hearts and minds of worshippers everywhere."

World Changers

World Changers of the North American Mission Board offers pre-packaged mission trips for student groups. When World Changers began in 1990 the goal was to change our approach to mission education: to get students out of the classroom and into a hands-on missions experience. The focus was to change the life of the participants by giving them an opportunity to change someone else's world. That focus is still true today. Even though World Changers has become a strategic plan to eliminate substandard housing for many communities, the focus is still changing the world of participants by giving them a hands-on missions experience.

In addition to the hands-on ministry students participate in during the day, we offer a nightly worship service where we celebrate what God is doing in and through the participants. Highway Video resources compliment those services by giving us professional, student-oriented visual elements. We get a lot of use out of the man-on-the-street segments as well as the top notch graphics and Vibe videos we use as backgrounds to our song lyrics.

Soul Show

Highway Video partners with The Soul Show, a new teen TV talk show broadcast currently in the Northern California Bay Area. Soul Show, a venture under the umbrella of Youth for Christ Ministries, airs one Highway video every show for the teen discussion panel.

"I'm so glad that God connected us with Highwayvideo.com because their unique, raw and uncut style is blowing our audiences away. Literally, we have had teenagers who after watching the highway video clips on our TV show break down, cry and get touched by the Holy Spirit. Our teen TV talk show (Soul Show) is geared to reach the young un-churched generation with the Gospel and God's presence. Highwayvideo.com is the Christian video company that understands what it takes to get out the box and reach the lost outside the four walls of the traditional Church. What I like best about Highway is that they don't put up a front or sugar coat the truth. Their videos are better than any commercials I've seen on MTV. Best of all, they give you Jesus, unplugged and just as He is-Truth and Love."

Sally Morgenthaler

Morgenthaler's Worship Evangelism: Inviting Unbelievers Into the Presence of God (Zondervan, 1995) has become a touchstone for postmodern, worship-driven ministry and a work whose popularity spans denominational boundaries. Her next work, to be published by Inter Varsity Press, centers specifically on worship in a postmodern culture.

Sally has been a featured speaker at numerous worship conferences, where she uses Highway Videos in workshops she conducts with worship leaders.

Morgenthaler also writes Worship and Popular Culture columns in dozens of popular ministry and worship related magazines. President of SJM Management Company, Inc., Morgenthaler now functions as on-site worship consultant for Denver Seminary.

"The videos are wonderful and I have already listed them on the resource sheet I hand out at my workshops. I love the interviews, but I find myself drawn to the pieces that can work in worship You obviously have your finger on the pulse of the next generation. I am so impressed with your work. Keep forging ahead. You are doing some incredibly important work!"

Creekside Christian Church
Creekside Christian Church reaches out to adults and youth in the San Francisco Bay Area with a contemporary presentation of the timeless truth of God's love. Says Program Director and Worship Leader Steve Hanson: "Being a portable church, we are limited in what we can accomplish with drama or staging. The effective use of multimedia is crucial to the Program Team's ability to support our sermons and the times of worship.

We use Highway materials on their own or we incorporate clips into other video creations. I've used bits and pieces of Vibe Volume One myself probably a dozen Sundays this year alone. Our times of worship are greatly enhanced by the use of Highway's videos, taking our congregation that much deeper into the worship experience and thus closer to God... Keep makin' 'em, and I'll keep buyin' 'em!"

Youth Specialties

For 30 years Youth Specialties has worked along side Christian youth workers of just about every denomination and youth-serving organization. They are there to help you, whether you're brand new to youth ministry or a veteran, whether you're a volunteer or a career youth pastor. Each year they serve more than 100,000 youth workers worldwide through their training Seminars and Conventions, resources, and here on the Internet.

"The stuff Highway produces rocks! And the diversity is amazing: they're the ONLY youth ministry video people who've been able to pull off humor without it being stupid, yet they also produce truly moving and deep pieces. We've used their video to David Crowder's "Color Song" at our events and received overwhelming positive responses."

Mark Oestreicher
Vice President of Ministry Resources

"When David Crowder has led worship at our National Youth Workers Convention, he's shown the video to "The Color Song," which Highway produced. It's a powerful visual that prompted many to reflect on God's greatness."

Dan Kimball
"Highway Video are pioneering forms of video that truly are God-focused worship and not tacky imitations of what is out in media today. We use them all the time in our worship gatherings.

I know the Highway Video Team and what I respect about them most, is that they truly are worshippers themselves and making videos is an expression of worship to God for them. It isn't just a company or people with media skills providing services for churches to consume. It is an expression of worship to start with."

Robbie Seay Band
"There's a lot of bad video stuff out there being used in our hours of community worship. Highway Video runs the other direction. They make short films. They are artists. They create. They are solemn. They are celebratory. They are leading a new generation of short filmmakers who creating glimpses of God's sovereignty, God's forgiveness, and the encounter we all have with our creator. Christian Associates International
Christian Associates International focuses its efforts in planting and multiplying high-impact churches in the cities of Europe. Our passion is to reach the unchurched, and to accomplish that in post-Christian Europe requires speaking relevantly and creatively to today's culture. Highway Videos is helping us to do that in cities like The Hague, Amsterdam, Lisbon, Madrid and Glasgow.

"I thank God for the guys at Highway Video! They are helping us connect with a generation that doesn't think God or church is relevant anymore. The quality of the multimedia is frequently given as a reason why both believers and seekers are coming to our church, and Highway's work is about the best we've seen or used. We're pumped that their work speaks to international and European audiences equally as well as to Americans."

"I have been deeply touched personally by your work, sometimes even brought to tears, and I know others have as well. When we showed "An Audience with God" a few weeks ago, a leader from a new church that we are helping to start in Rotterdam asked me if they could borrow the CD to show at their first official service. I agreed, they showed it, and he said it helped make their launch service a big success. Please keep them coming!"

CCN
The Church Communication Network is a subscription-based satellite television network for churches. CCN provides interactive turn-key training programs and outreach events from today's top Christian Speakers and ministry experts and brings them right to the church, live, through the power of satellite technology.

For our broadcasts, it is vital for us to be able to communicate ideas and illustrate concepts effectively and in an entertaining fashion. It is great to have a ministry partner like Highway Video that we can turn to for high quality videos that will effectively draw in our audience and really make people think about the topic we are presenting. In this postmodern era, it is simply not enough to explain ideas to people-you have to show them, you have to create an emotion and connection, and you have to match the high quality entertainment that people are used to seeing on TV. Highway Video has accomplished this in their dynamic library of entertaining, thought-provoking video clips that cover so many topics and are so easy to use in ministry. Thanks to Highway Video for the passion and creativity they put into their work.

Greater Vancouver Youth for Christ
Andy Harrington is getting old and fat. He wonders why he gets invited to cool do's where he feels like the oldest swinger in town, but comes for the free food. He used to run around places like Bosnia, the UK, Africa and the Far East planting alternative culture churches, but now watching The Crocodile Hunter on TV is the closest he gets to real action. He does however have a cute English accent and it seems to get him invited to a lot of parties.

When not being a couch potato, he leads a team of over 50 at Youth For Christ in Vancouver and does the odd bit of jumping on the bridge of the ship called church and swinging the wheel a few degrees when no one is looking. He has a Masters degree in Culture and Evangelism that he probably bought from a dodgy internet site.

"Highway video really get it! They are injecting spiritual spice into a world that focuses so much on image, challenging us to feast with our eyes and digest with our minds, what God is saying through the arts. They understand the need for people to have sensory input in every dimension and the ability for all of us to see wonder and awe in the visual realm."

"Seeing them operate at the History Maker convention in BC was to see teens met at their own level, in their own world. They showed that the VJ is just as much a worship leader as the guitarist, and hey challenged us all to reach beyond our conventional mind sets and barriers."

Crossroads Covenant Church
"Our student ministry department recently led the day's three worship services. We wanted to bring more art and visual enhancement to the services. We did! Much of it with the help of Highway Video's Vibe Videos and Elements video clips.

The response was overwhelmingly positive from young people and adults alike. I even had leaders from a local Christian ministry call us to inquire about purchasing what we used. Needless to say, I referred them to Highway Video. Thanks Highway Video! God is using what you're doing to further His Kingdom."

H2O
H2O is a dynamic youth church that meets on Sunday mornings designed to reach out to "unchurched" students and equip believing students for ministry through service. H2O is centered around media which is a powerful tool for communication. At H2O we recognize that and use it! When you come to one of our services be ready to experience God through video, lights, drama, computer graphics and more! A big part of what we have done so far has involved Highway Video products.

Your products have been a huge blessing to our ministry! I especially value our copy of Vibe Videos Volume 1. We have used it in many ways. At our kick-off service we played the text-free version of "Skies" while our worship band opened with a cover of the U2 song "Beautiful Day". The video seemed to match up with the music and added a boost of energy to our kick-off. Since then we have used the other videos during worship and special music. It is wonderful to be able to worship God musically and visually!

Today I checked your new products coming out and was blown away with the innovative tools your are striving to equip the church with. I am blessed and encouraged to see that there are many other Christians and churches who understand that media is an extremely powerful tool in communicating the gospel. Keep up the awesome work!

Frederick Church of the Brethren
"A visually-driven worship experience is a 'must' for deaf people. Highway Video productions allow them to experience--perhaps for the first time--an insight and intimacy with the living God Who loves them.

" His love. His grace. His purpose. His plan. That's what you'll SEE within the Deaf Fellowship at the Frederick Church of the Brethren. Here, you'll encounter God in an environment uniquely designed to meet your visual needs as a deaf person.

We offer dynamic worship services conducted in American Sign Language and utilize drama and video technology for clearer understanding of God's Word. In addition, Bible-based, socially relevant teaching is offered at various times during the week both at the church and in the community.

A "church within a church", the Deaf Fellowship maintains its sense of close community and cultural distinction, while cherishing its supportive partnership with the greater Frederick Church of the Brethren community.

Whether it's through visually oriented worship, small group participation, or loving fellowship, you'll SEE perhaps for the first time the love and promise that Jesus Christ has especially for you

Judson College
Judson is an evangelical Christian College which represents the Church at work in higher education, equipping students to be fully developed, responsible persons who glorify God by the quality of their personal relationships, their work, and their citizenship within the community, the nation and the world. Through a broadly based education in the liberal arts, sciences and professions, the college enables its students to acquire ideas and concepts which sharpen their insights, develop skills appropriate to their career goals, and develop the skills and commitment for lifelong learning.

"I have been thoroughly impressed with and blessed by the Highway Video series. On several occasions this year--particularly on Sept. 12, the day after the terrorist attacks--I have found just the right video to touch the hearts and minds of our college students in our chapel services. The videos are well crafted, intentional, and appealing to today's video-savvy generation (although our faculty responded well to them, too). I recommend the Highway Video series without reservation for any organizations looking to enhance their worship or teaching ministries."

Centrifuge Youth Camps
Since 1979, Centrifuge has been serving local churches by offering high quality, high energy youth camps for teenagers. Beginning in 1986, they expanded their ministry to include older children with Crosspoint. Then, in 1995, M-Fuge became part of their family offering exciting ministry opportunities to teens. Each year, they have expanded their ministry, they now offer nine different camp programs which last year served almost 80,000 students and their leaders.

"Highway has the ability to not only catch the eye of the postmodern teenager, but also engage his mind and touch his heart. In our camp ministry, we see almost 80,000 students come through one of our camps in a typical summer. Highway videos have become powerful elements to our worship services. We have been thrilled to partner with Highway."
